6/7/2026: California Icons: A Rare Spotlight on Littorai & Coastal Excellence
California has long proven itself capable of producing wines that stand comfortably among the world's greatest. While Napa Valley's Cabernet Sauvignon first established the state's global reputation, the cooler coastal regions have since become home to some of the most compelling expressions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Today's offer brings together a carefully curated collection from several California's most celebrated estates, led by a Burgundian-inspired winemaking: Littorai.
Founded by Ted Lemon in 1993, Littorai has become one of California's benchmark producers of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. After studying and working extensively in Burgundy (including Dujac, Roulot, Roumier, Bruno Clair and more), Ted Lemon returned to California with a singular vision: to craft wines that faithfully express vineyard, climate and vintage rather than sheer power. His commitment to organic and biodynamic farming, minimal intervention in the cellar, and meticulous vineyard selection has placed Littorai firmly among the elite names of the Sonoma Coast and Anderson Valley.
The wines offered today beautifully illustrate that philosophy. The Cerise, Savoy, Les Larmes, and Havens Pinot Noirs each reveal a distinct personality despite sharing the same elegant signature. From the floral perfume and vibrant red fruit of Anderson Valley to the deeper, more structured expression of the Sonoma Coast, these wines are admired for their purity, finesse and remarkable ageing potential. Alongside them, the Charles Heintz and B.A. Thieriot Chardonnays demonstrate why Littorai remains one of California's finest white wine producers, delivering extraordinary precision, mineral tension and layered complexity without excessive richness.
Complementing today's miniscule Littorai offers, are several equally distinguished names. The legendary Araujo Estate Eisele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from 2006 and 2008 represents one of Napa Valley's most historic vineyard sites. Revered for producing Cabernets of exceptional balance, longevity and unmistakable terroir, these mature vintages are increasingly difficult to source today. Pinot Noir collectors will also appreciate the impressive 2016 Kistler Laguna Ridge Pinot Noir in MAGNUM format. From one of California's most respected Pinot Noir specialists, this large-format promises more years of graceful development. Rounding out the collection is the beautifully crafted 2016 Peter Michael Ma Belle-Fille Chardonnay, a benchmark expression from Knights Valley that effortlessly balances richness with remarkable freshness, and the perfect and sought-after 2019 Sine Qua Non Distenta Syrah, a cult bottling renowned for its extraordinary concentration, complexity and near-mythical following among collectors worldwide.
Every bottle in today's selection has been chosen for its pedigree, provenance and rarity. Whether your preference lies with elegant, terroir-driven Pinot Noir, world-class Chardonnay, or iconic Napa Cabernet and Rhone-inspired Syrah, this is an opportunity to secure some of California's most collectible wines. As with all of our limited offers, most of them are only available in limited quantities (3 bots), so place your order early to avoid disappointment.......RS
7/7/2026: Spot Offer: Single Japanese Whisky Rarity - 1992 Yamazaki Single Cask, The Owner's Cask
Few whiskies capture the imagination of collectors quite like a single cask bottling from Yamazaki. Produced in extremely limited quantities and never intended for wide commercial release, these bottles offer an unrepeatable snapshot of one individual cask, making each release genuinely one of a kind. Today, we are delighted to present an exceptionally rare example: The 1992 Yamazaki Single Cask The Owner's Cask #2Q70654 (bottled for Orihara Co. Ltd)
Drawn from a single cask laid down in 1992, this bottling belongs to the legendary The Owner's Cask programme, an initiative that allowed a select group of private clients and esteemed trade partners to purchase and mature an entire cask under their own ownership. Long since discontinued, these releases have become some of the most sought-after Japanese whiskies on the secondary market, prized not only for their rarity but also for the individuality that each cask expresses. This bottling was exclusively for Orihara Co. Ltd, one of Japan's most respected spirits merchants, Cask #2Q70654 represents a whisky that very few enthusiasts will ever have the opportunity to own, let alone taste. Unlike standard distillery expressions, every Owner's Cask bottling possesses its own unique maturation profile, ensuring that no two releases are ever identical.
Distilled during what many collectors now regard as the golden era of Japanese whisky production, this bottle also predates the global boom that transformed Japanese whisky into one of the world's most coveted categories. Bottles from this period have become increasingly scarce, and opportunities to secure Owner's Cask bottlings, particularly those from the early 1990s with impeccable provenance, have become exceptionally few and far between.
The Owner's Cask #2Q70654 represents a rare chance to acquire a bottle that is unlikely to be seen again anytime soon. Today, just one available on WineBond marketplace. Don't miss......RS
9/7/2026: Burgundy Assortments in July: Respectable Premier and Grand Crus
Today's spot offer brings together an exceptional collection of mature and highly sought-after Burgundies from some of the most revered Domaines. Spanning iconic vineyards and outstanding vintages, these bottles offer a rare opportunity to acquire wines that have become increasingly difficult to source.
At the pinnacle of the selection is the 1999 Jacques-Frederic Mugnier Musigny Grand Cru, one of Burgundy's most graceful and aristocratic expressions of Pinot Noir. From a vintage celebrated for its remarkable balance, depth and longevity, Mugnier's Musigny continues to stand among the greatest wines of the Côte d'Or, combining haunting perfume with extraordinary finesse and ageing potential. Equally captivating is the 2011 Jacques-Frederic Mugnier Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Amoureuses. Often described as the vineyard that comes closest to the elegance of Musigny itself, Les Amoureuses is renowned for its silky texture, soaring aromatics and effortless refinement. In Mugnier's hands, it remains one of Burgundy's most coveted Premier Crus.
From Vosne-Romanee, we are pleased to offer two vintages of Alain Hudelot-Noellat Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Les Beaumonts. The beautifully mature 2005 alongside the vibrant and classically styled 2015. Both vintages showcase the Domaine's hallmark precision, purity and seductive perfume, while providing an intriguing opportunity to compare two exceptional growing seasons from the same celebrated vineyard.
The outstanding Denis Mortet Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux St-Jacques, is widely regarded as one of the appellation's greatest Premier Crus. The superb 2010 vintage perfectly complements Mortet's polished, concentrated style, producing a wine of remarkable intensity, mineral precision and immense ageing potential.
Completing the offer are two vintages of Roche de Bellene Clos de la Roche Grand Cru, from 2010 and 2011. Sourced from old vines and crafted by (the late) Nicolas Potel's meticulous attention to terroir, these wines express the hallmark power, structure and complexity that have made Clos de la Roche one of Morey-Saint-Denis' most revered Grand Crus.
As always, quantities are extremely limited and all wines are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Book early to avoid disappointment......RS
10/7/2026: The Collector's Cellar Opens – Rare Back Vintages from Comte de Vogue & Dugat-Py
Every Burgundy lover knows that reputation and rarity are not always the same thing. Some Domaines have earned worldwide acclaim. Others produce so little that, once the bottles disappear into private cellars, they may not resurface for years. This offer, coming from a single collector here at Wine Bond, brings together both ends of that spectrum, featuring one of Burgundy's most historic names alongside one of its most elusive.
Comte Georges de Vogue has long stood among the aristocracy of the Cote de Nuits. Its holdings in Chambolle-Musigny are among the finest in Burgundy, with Musigny and Bonnes-Mares forming the cornerstone of the estate's enduring reputation. These are wines, collectors recognise instantly, admired for their grace, precision and remarkable ability to evolve over decades. While Comte de Vogue remains one of Burgundy's most sought-after producers, mature vintages still surface from time to time.
Dugat-Py is an entirely different proposition. Over the past two decades, the Domaine has become one of Burgundy's most fiercely collected names. Tiny production, painstaking vineyard work and an uncompromising philosophy, have created wines of extraordinary concentration and longevity. Yet it is precisely these qualities that make older bottles so difficult to acquire. Owners rarely part with them, especially the Grand Crus.
This collection spans the exceptional 2006 to 2010 vintages, a period that produced wines of remarkable balance, structure and ageing potential. The bottles have now reached a fascinating stage in their evolution, where youthful fruit begins to intertwine with the complexity that only time can deliver.
From Comte de Vogue, we are delighted to offer the beautifully refined 2006 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru, the legendary 2010 Les Amoureuses, the powerful yet elegant 2008 Bonnes Mares Grand Cru, together with the outstanding Musigny Vieilles Vignes Grand Cru from 2006, 2008 and 2010. Few Domaines capture the haunting perfume and effortless elegance of Chambolle-Musigny with such consistency, and these vintages demonstrate exactly why the estate has remained one of Burgundy's enduring benchmarks.
The true rarity lies in the Dugat-Py wines. The 2009 and 2010 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Petite Chapelle, 2010 Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru, and the magnificent Mazoyeres-Chambertin Grand Cru from 2009 and 2010 represent bottles that have become increasingly scarce in the secondary market. These are not wines that are available with any regularity, most of them disappear into private cellars.
Whether your cellar has long celebrated the timeless elegance of Comte de Vogue or you have been patiently waiting for these Dugat-Py, this is a collection that deserves close attention. With some of these coming in original wooden cases (or box/s), we encourage early enquiries to avoid disappointment. Have a great Friday!........RS
14/7/2026: Comte Liger-Belair: Exceptional Premier Cru Vineyards from One Legendary Domaine
Combining aristocratic heritage, meticulous viticulture and an uncompromising philosophy of low yields and gentle extraction, Louis-Michel has established Comte Liger Belair among Burgundy's modern elite. Today, we are delighted to present a carefully selected offering from the Domaine's two most captivating Premier Cru vineyards. Quantities are extremely limited, and each wine has been impeccably stored by a single collector since release.
Clos des Grandes Vignes – A Monopole of Remarkable Character
Located in the southern reaches of Nuits-St-Georges, Clos des Grandes Vignes is a true monopole of Comte Liger-Belair, encompassing just over two hectares entirely under the Domaine's ownership. Sheltered within its historic stone walls, this exceptional vineyard benefits from limestone-rich soils over clay, excellent drainage, and an ideal southeast exposure that consistently produces fruit of remarkable balance. Unlike the more muscular reputation often associated with Nuits-St-Georges, Clos des Grandes Vignes reveals another side of the appellation. Here, the wines are defined by perfume, purity and refinement rather than sheer power.
Even rarer is the Clos des Grandes Vignes Blanc. White Nuits-St-Georges remains one of Burgundy's greatest curiosities, with only a handful of hectares planted across the entire appellation. Produced from Chardonnay within this same historic Clos, the wine combine richness with remarkable tension and energy. Its scarcity alone makes it highly sought after, while its quality has quietly earned a devoted following among collectors who appreciate Burgundy's hidden gems.
Les Petits Monts – The Grand Cru in Disguise
Among Vosne-Romanee's Premier Crus, Les Petits Monts has long been regarded as one of the village's finest sites. Sitting immediately above the legendary Richebourg Grand Cru, the vineyard shares the same limestone-rich geology, exceptional drainage and ideal exposition that make this slope one of Burgundy's most prized terroirs. The altitude provides slightly cooler conditions, preserving freshness while delivering extraordinary concentration. The result is a wine that often bridges the stylistic gap between Premier and Grand Cru. Aromatically captivating, Les Petits Monts offers remarkable finesse and length. Under the hands of Louis-Michel, it becomes one of the purest and most graceful expressions of Vosne-Romanee Premier Crus available today.
Vintage Overview
2008: A classic, cool-climate Burgundy vintage. Vibrant acidity, with aromatic purity and remarkable transparency of terroir. Now beautifully mature, they offer elegance and drinkability.
2011: A charming, approachable vintage offering immediate pleasure with expressive aromatics, supple tannins and classic Burgundy elegance.
2012: Low yields produced concentrated, beautifully balanced wines with impressive depth, purity and excellent ageing potential. Widely regarded as one of the finest vintages of the decade.
2013: Cooler conditions resulted in vibrant acidity, exceptional transparency of terroir and finely detailed wines.
2014: A superb vintage combining freshness with ripe fruit concentration. The wines possess remarkable precision, energy and balance, and continue to impress as they mature.
Whether you seek the understated nobility of Clos des Grandes Vignes, the extraordinary rarity of Clos des Grandes Vignes Blanc, or the near-Grand Cru stature of Les Petits Monts, this collection represents one of the finest Comte Liger Belair collections, released by a single, passionate fan of this Domaine. As with all Comte Liger-Belair rare releases on marketplace, availability remains exceptionally small, don't miss........RS
17/7/2026: Friday Spot Offer: Beyond the Labels - Burgundy Village Wines
There is a saying among Burgundy lovers: the true measure of a great Domaine is not its Grand Cru, but its village wine. The bottles in this offer are a perfect reflection of that philosophy.
Crafted by some of Burgundy's most prominent producers, these wines showcase the purity of site, precision of winemaking, and unmistakable character that have made their Domaines noticeable to collectors. While their flagship Premier and Grand Crus often command high prices, these village wines offer a remarkably accessible way to experience the same craftsmanship and pedigree.
Leading this collection are two benchmark Gevrey-Chambertins from the Mortet family: the elegant 2017 Arnaud Mortet Gevrey-Chambertin and the superb 2017 Denis Mortet Gevrey-Chambertin "Mes Cinq Terroirs". From Vosne-Romanee, the rising-star wines of Georges Noellat in both 2018 and 2019 capture the seductive perfume, spice and silky texture that define his villages. Completing the rouge selection is the inaugural 2009 Domaine d'Eugenie Clos d'Eugenie, a rare bottling from an exceptional enclosed vineyard neighbouring La Tache.
For the single white Burgundy, the only Premier Cru: 2016 Fontaine-Gagnard Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers offers the hallmark richness of Chassagne, balanced by striking freshness and mineral precision.
These wines deliver outstanding value without compromising on pedigree, and this carefully selected collection offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy Burgundy at its most authentic. These are wines that speak not through prestige on the label, but through the quality in the glass.
24/7/2026: Friday Spot Offer: Small Claude Dugat Collection
In Burgundy, there are producers whose reputations are built not on quantity, but on unwavering excellence. Claude Dugat belongs firmly in that category. With a Domaine spanning barely six hectares in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, production remains remarkably small, and every bottle is fiercely sought after. Claude Dugat's philosophy is deceptively simple: meticulous vineyard work, very low yields, and patient elevage: allow each wine to express the unmistakable character of its vineyard with purity, concentration and finesse. The result is a range that consistently ranks among Burgundy's finest, combining remarkable depth with an elegance that rewards decades of cellaring.
Today's spot offer is anything but ordinary, mainly from vintage 2018: the Bourgogne Rouge displays the precision, perfume and energy. Gevrey-Chambertin offers a beautifully layered expression of the village, balancing vibrant red fruit with mineral tension and refined structure. The stars of this offer are definitely the two vintages of Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru. The 2006 has now entered a glorious stage of maturity, revealing beautifully developed aromas of forest floor, truffle, dried rose petals and sweet spice, while the 2018 is a magnificent, rich, concentrated young Grand Cru, impeccably balanced, with immense ageing potential and all the hallmarks of a future classic. With just 3 bottles of each cuvee, order quickly if you have been chasing the wines of Claude Dugat......RS

4/8/2026: The Perfect Collection Part 2 of 2: Burgundy and Champagnes
Some wines impress with scores (as seen in Part 1 of our Prefect Collection). Others earn their reputation through decades of consistency, provenance, and the unmistakable signature of the people who crafted them. Welcome to The Perfect Collection Part 2, a celebration of the world's most revered Burgundy producers, exceptional back vintages, and cuvees that have consistently captivated critics and collectors alike.
Burgundy has always been a region defined by nuance rather than volume. The greatest Domaines produce limited quantities, and with each passing vintage, these bottles become increasingly scarce. Time only enhances their desirability, as mature Burgundy reveals depth, complexity and elegance that younger wines can only hint at. This collection brings together an exceptional selection from many of Burgundy's most respected names, mainly Grand Crus that have received outstanding acclaim. These are bottles that showcase not only remarkable vineyard sites but also the craftsmanship and philosophy of producers whose reputations have been built over generations. Included in today's offers, are some selected vintage Champagnes from Krug and Cristal, chosen for their maturity, refinement and ability to elevate any occasion.
For collectors, mature Burgundy represents far more than a wine; it is a snapshot of a particular vineyard, a particular season and a particular moment in history. The vintages and wines offered today, have also evoked tasting notes and memories of my own. Let this be an invitation for you to explore some of these bottles, whether to create new memories, or to revisit old ones. As with all truly exceptional collections, availability is limited......RS
7/8/2026: Spot Offer: Final Discount Prices for Comte Liger Belair and Sylvain Cathiard
For the final time, we are releasing a very limited allocation of wines from two of Burgundy's most revered Domaines: Sylvain Cathiard and Comte Liger-Belair. Following our previous offers, I have worked with the seller to make the decision to reduce prices even further, making this the lowest pricing we will ever offer on these bottles.
These are not wines that need introduction. Sylvain Cathiard's Romanée-St-Vivant Grand Cru is among the most sought-after Grand Crus in Burgundy, celebrated for its haunting perfume, remarkable precision and extraordinary ageing potential. Likewise, Comte Liger-Belair's monopole Clos des Grandes Vignes, the rare Clos des Grandes Vignes Blanc, and the exceptional Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Petits Monts represent some of the finest expressions from one of Burgundy's most prestigious estates.
While the fine wine market has softened over the past two years, opportunities to purchase wines of this caliber at reduced prices remain exceptionally rare. Once the market strengthens, these pricing levels are unlikely to be seen again. Please note: this is a genuine clearance of any remaining bottles. To ensure fairness to everyone, this offer will remain open for just two weeks, after which any remaining bottles will be withdrawn from sale.
If you have been waiting for the right moment to add these iconic Burgundies to your collection, this is it. When the final bottles are gone—or when the two-week offer ends—this opportunity will not be repeated. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
13/8/2026: The California Icons Collection — BOND, Harlan Maiden & Scarecrow
It is time we turn our attention to Napa Valley, one of the lesser focused wine regions and offers on marketplace. This time, a particularly special collection centered around three of California’s most coveted names: BOND, Harlan (Maiden) and Scarecrow. Today's offers are interesting, not simply about the pedigree, but the OWC format and how they are priced to sell. All the wine offers today, come in its original box/set (no loose bottles) making these particularly attractive for collectors looking for provenance, presentation and completeness.
BOND Terroir Portfolio: 2021 & 2022
Few Napa wines demonstrate the concept of terroir as compellingly as BOND. Rather than producing "one single house” Cabernet, BOND focuses on five exceptional hillside vineyards, each bottled separately to express its individual character: Melbury, St. Eden, Pluribus, Quella and Vecina. The Terroir Portfolio brings all five together in one beautifully presented five-bottle set — one bottle of each vineyard, making it one of the most complete ways to experience BOND.
The Vintages 2021, 2022
2021 is widely regarded as an outstanding Napa Cabernet vintage. A severe drought produced tiny berries and exceptionally low yields, resulting in wines of remarkable concentration, colour, tannin and flavour. The mountain AVAs performed particularly well, with wines possessing both power and structure for long-term ageing.
2022 was much more dramatic. After a promising growing season, Napa was hit by an extraordinary September heatwave, with temperatures exceeding 37 degrees Celsius and averaging around 40 degrees Celsius. In some vineyards, the highest recorded was 43 degrees Celsius. The vintage therefore demanded careful vineyard management and selection. BOND were able to produce compelling wines from the conditions.
BOND Matriarch: 2021 and 2022
Alongside the BOND terroir portfolios, two vintages 2021 and 2022 BOND Matriarch are also offered in their original three-bottle OWCs. Matriarch is BOND’s second wine, made from exceptional fruits that narrowly miss the rigorous final selection for the five BOND vineyard wines, while retaining the pedigree and hillside character of the estate.
2022 The Maiden by Harlan Estate
The 2022 Harlan Estate The Maiden, offered in its original six-bottle OWC, provides another opportunity to acquire one of Napa’s most prestigious names in a more accessible expression. Like BOND Matriarch, The Maiden is born from Harlan Estate’s meticulous selection process: those that do not make the final Harlan Estate blend are woven together to create a second wine that remains faithful to the property’s character.
2023 Scarecrow M. Etain Cabernet Sauvignon
Completing the collection is the 2023 Scarecrow M. Etain Cabernet Sauvignon, in its original six-bottle pack. The 2023 vintage is particularly exciting. Record winter rainfall replenished Napa’s soils, followed by a long, moderate growing season with relatively little extreme heat. Scarecrow describes the vintage as a low-stress season marked by “patience, precision and restraint.” The resulting wine is a rich Cabernet blend with dark fruit, spice, velvet-textured tannins with aging potential.
Three legendary Napa names. Exceptional recent vintages. Original box sets. And, this week, particularly friendly pricing. For collectors who have been waiting for the right opportunity to add these to your cellar, this is one Napa offer worth taking seriously.
19/8/2026: Bordeaux 2008 and 2009 Revisit: Prices Adjusted to Market
Back in March, we presented a Bordeaux collection centered around the highly sought-after 2008 and 2009 vintages, spanning the spectrum from First to Fifth Growths. For those who missed the offer back then, or have been waiting for the right opportunity, the collection is back. But this time, prices have gone through a reset.
Rather than simply bringing back the same wines at the same prices, we have reviewed these wines with the owner, and adjusted the prices against current market levels, meaning most of the prices are lowered accordingly. The objective is straightforward: to offer these wines at prices that make sense in today’s Bordeaux market and to move these. The 2008 and 2009 vintages remain particularly compelling for collectors. 2008 produced wines of classic structure and freshness, while 2009 is renowned for its richness, generosity and depth. Together, they offer two distinctly different expressions of Bordeaux, and both are now entering an attractive stage of maturity. The selection covers a broad range of Classified Growths, giving collectors the opportunity to revisit some of Bordeaux’s most established names (Lafite, Mouton and more) without having to commit exclusively to the very top tier. These Classified Growths, are wines suited both to the serious collector looking to add established names to the cellar, and to the drinker looking for mature Bordeaux with provenance and pedigree. Do note that this is not a permanent price reduction. This re-offer has been created as a time-limited opportunity. For how long? Maybe a week, a month? We'll let you guess....
For collectors who considered these wines previously but felt the pricing was not quite right, this is the opportunity to reconsider. Bordeaux has always rewarded patience. These bottles have already had years of cellar development behind them; now, with market-adjusted pricing, it is an opportunity not to be missed!
3/9/2026: A Wine Enthusiast Collection Opens in September | Rare Back Vintage Burgundy and more
Some wines are bought to be enjoyed. Others are collected, patiently cellared, and allowed to become something rarer: pieces of wine history. This September, we are pleased to present a highly curated selection of rare back-vintage Burgundies, coming from a single Wine Enthusiast storing here at Wine Bond. Now being offered for sale, many wines are appearing for the first time on marketplace.
The selection spans some of Burgundy most sought-after names: Comte de Vogue, Dujac, Leroy (Maison), Nicolas Potel and more. And for Champagnes: the rarely seen Salon and Jacques Selosse. A MAGNUM of the perfect Jean-Louis Chave Hermitage and two vintages of Chateau d’Yquem in different bottle sizes, make this another intriguing offer. Even though there are a mix of vintages and wines; the number of older vintages represent increasingly difficult-to-find bottlings, one should not miss.
There are also beautifully aged Burgundy rarities from producers, whose older bottlings are becoming increasingly difficult to source, and some re-releases. They include:
- 1982 Leroy (Maison) Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru & 2000 Meursault (late release from Maison in 2021)
- 1987 and 1990 Guy Girardin Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Petits Monts (Domaine's re-release)
- 1990 Amiot-Servelle Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Derriere la Grange
- 2001 Nicolas Potel Richebourg
and more........(Photos are available by PM).
What makes this collection particularly compelling is its provenance and condition of the bottles. All the potential bottles for sale, have been inspected prior, and believe it or not, some bottles did not make the cut; but those that did, are excellent treasures to own today. Importantly, this is not an open-ended offer. They will be available for three months only, from September through November, after which the remaining bottles will be withdrawn from sale.
This is a totally different kind of opportunity, and many wines are now at a stage where time, provenance and availability become just as important as the wine itself. Rare back vintages. Established names. Re-releases. Checked provenance. This fresh collection opens this September.......RS
7/9/2026: Sassicaia Returns: Three Iconic Vintages (2006, 2013, 2015) - One Exceptional Offer
Six months ago, we brought you an offer featuring one of Italy’s most coveted wines: Sassicaia. Back by popular demand, we are delighted to bring Sassicaia back, this time with a carefully selected trio of vintages: 2006, 2013 and 2015.
2006 SASSICAIA
A classic, beautifully mature vintage that is now entering a particularly attractive stage of its life. The 2006 combines dark fruits, cedar, Mediterranean herbs and savoury complexity with the structure and freshness that have allowed it to age so gracefully. For those who appreciate mature Bordeaux-like character in an Italian.
2013 SASSICAIA
Elegant, refined and wonderfully expressive, 2013 is a vintage that demonstrates Sassicaia's more sophisticated side. Perfumed dark fruits, cassis, herbs and fine-grained tannins are supported by excellent freshness and length. A particularly impressive vintage for collectors seeking finesse rather than sheer power.
2015 SASSICAIA
The standout of the trio for those looking for concentration, depth and longevity. The 2015 possesses exceptional balance, ripe Cabernet fruit, polished tannins and the freshness required for decades of development. The 2015 is a serious collector's vintage: powerful, precise and built for the long haul.
Having previously offered Sassicaia just six months ago, we are pleased to be able to re-market these three vintages once again, with availability carefully allocated while stocks last. Sassicaia — an Italian icon, back on offer.
11/9/2026: Market-Adjusted Classics: Six Highly Rated Wines - Repriced
Some wines return back for another try, especially those that adjust according to market. Back in October 2025, we featured a selection of highly rated wines spanning different regions of the world. Since then, the market has evolved, and we have taken the opportunity to review their prices with the seller, and this time, prices reduce according to current market levels. For those who may have passed on them the first time, this is an opportunity to revisit some exceptional wines at considerable attractive prices.
Leading the selection is the 2011 Biondi-Santi Brunello di Montalcino RISERVA, one of Tuscany's most revered names and a benchmark for traditional Brunello. From a classic producer with extraordinary ageing ability, the 2011 Riserva combines the structure, perfume and longevity for which Biondi-Santi is renowned for.
Following close, the 2012 Il Marroneto Brunello di Montalcino Madonna delle Grazie offers another remarkable combination of producer, vineyard and vintage. With 99 points from both Wine Advocate and Wine Enthusiast, Madonna delle Grazie has become one of the most sought-after expressions of Brunello, prized for its purity, elegance and ability to evolve over decades.
From Rhone comes a pair of mature Chateauneuf-du-Pape treasures:
The 2003 Domaine du Pegau Cuvee Reservee, presented in an impressive 3-litre JEROBOAM, is a particularly compelling format for collectors and entertaining. The wine has earned a 99 pointer, and the combination of a mature vintage, renowned Domaine and large-format makes this an especially distinctive offering.
The 2000 Pierre Usseglio Reserve des Deux Freres is another CDP standout. From a great vintage and a cuvee that has developed beautifully with age, it has a perfect score, and 20+ years on, this is firmly in the territory of mature Chateauneuf-du-Pape to enjoy now. Only 1 bottle available.
The selection also ventures north to Germany with the 2016 Weingut Rudolf Furst Burgstadter Hundsruck Spatburgunder Grosses Gewachs. A serious Pinot Noir from Franken. This is a beautifully refined example of Germany's increasingly exciting fine wine landscape, aristocratic Burgundy-like Pinot Noir. This might give some of the Burgundians a run for their money.
Finally, the 2000 Taylor Vintage Port brings the selection to a fitting close. A great vintage from one of the most celebrated names, it has collected a high score of 98 points. With more than two decades of bottle age, this is a classic mature Vintage Port for both collectors and those looking for a spectacular finish.
Six highly rated wines. Multiple great producers. Mature vintages. And now, prices adjusted to today's market. For collectors who appreciate provenance, maturity and critical pedigree, this is a marvelous second chance!
18/9/2026: Spot Offer: 2019 Bass Phillip - A Landmark Vintage
Two years ago, a rare and miniscule parcel of Bass Phillip wines appear on marketplace, and it was gone too quickly. Today, a limited offer of 2019 Bass Phillip wines re-appear, with only 6 bottles of three cuvees available.
Bass Phillip has long occupied a unique position in Australian wine. Based in South Gippsland, Victoria, the estate is renowned for producing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay of remarkable delicacy, perfume and longevity: wines that often show a distinctly Burgundian sensibility rather than the richness traditionally associated with Australian wine. 2019 is a particularly significant vintage in the history of Bass Phillip. It was the first major transition vintage, made collaboratively by Phillip Jones and Jean-Marie Fourrier. Bass Phillip itself calls Fourrier the new Chief Winemaker for that vintage, the passing of the torch.
After these years, the 2019s are entering an attractive stage of development. The fruit has begun to integrate with the savoury, earthy and mineral characters that make mature Bass Phillip so compelling, while the structure of the 2019 vintage gives these wines considerable further cellaring potential. For collectors of Bass Phillip, the 2019 vintage offers something particularly special: the last chapter of the Phillip Jones era, the beginning of Jean-Marie Fourrier's time, captured in a vintage that critics have rated exceptionally high. As usual, limited availability, and strictly while stocks last.
22/9/2026: Spot Offer: Assortments in Five Distinctive Expressions
Not every great wine needs to come from the same region. This week’s Spot Offer brings together bottles from five different regions: Tuscany, Eden Valley, Champagne, Northern Rhone and Rioja — a compact assortment united by pedigree, vintage character and the kind of bottle age that makes these wines particularly interesting today.
The 2008 Lodovico by Tenuta di Biserno, the Cabernet-dominated super-Tuscan from the Antinori family’s Lodovico. A serious, structured wine from a notable vintage, it offers the depth and polish expected from one of Tuscany’s more sought-after modern estates.
From Australia comes the 2008 Torbreck The Gask Shiraz, sourced from the cooler Eden Valley. Aged Australian Shiraz at this level can be remarkably compelling, combining richness with the savoury complexity that develops with time in bottle.
For Champagne collectors, this is a particularly special format: 1996 Duval-Leroy Femme de Champagne Grand Cru in MAGNUM. The 1996 vintage remains one of Champagne’s great modern years, and the combination of a prestige cuvee, Grand Cru fruit and 1.5 liter format makes this a bottle with both drinking and collecting appeal.
The 2009 Guigal Chateau d’Ampuis represents Cote-Rotie at its classic best: powerful yet refined, with the combination of Syrah and the northern Rhone’s distinctive aromatic character.
Finally, the 2008 Lopez de Heredia Vina Tondonia Reserva offers something completely different: traditional Rioja, extended ageing and remarkable longevity. Already mature, yet capable of further development, it is a wine that rewards those who appreciate old-school Rioja.
Five wines. Five regions. Five very different reasons to pop them open. Available now.
24/9/2026: Piedmont in Focus: Biggest Barolo and Barbaresco List — New Market Levels
This week the attention goes to Piedmont, and today we reveal a serious collection of Piedmont wines, adjusted to current market prices that make a second (or third) look worthwhile. This is a rare and broad selection of Barolo, Barbaresco and Barbera d’Alba, from the region’s most respected producers. The whole collection come from a single owner whom I have personally known for almost two decades, and his Piedmont collection is by far, one of the best we have here at Wine Bond.
Rather than concentrating on one estate or one particular vintage, this collection offers the opportunity to explore different interpretations of Nebbiolo across producers, vineyards and decades: from younger, structured Barolo to mature Riservas that have spent many years developing in bottle. At the heart of the offer is an impressive line-up of Barolos.
The highly regarded 2010s, including Elio Altare Brunate and Arborina, Massolino Margheria and Cavallotto Bricco Boschis Vigna San Giuseppe Riserva. Alongside these are benchmark names such as Cappellano, Brovia, Giacomo Conterno, Vietti, G.D. Vajra, Paolo Scavino and Domenico Clerico, giving collectors plenty of different styles to explore. For those who prefer wines with significant bottle age, the selection becomes even more interesting. 1971 Fontanafredda, 1971 and 1974 Giacomo Borgogno Riserva, and 1978 Rocche dei Manzoni Valentino: offer the chance to experience Piedmont through wines that have had decades to evolve. Mature Barolo can be a completely different proposition from its youthful counterpart, they offer softer tannins, more developed aromatics and the savoury, earthy complexity that only time can bring.
The Barbaresco selection provides another dimension: Gaja 2014 sits alongside a particularly interesting 1997 in MAGNUM, while La Ca' Nova Montefico and Montestefano, Giuseppe Cortese Rabaja, and several vintages of Produttori del Barbaresco provide further depth.
And for collectors who enjoy looking beyond the obvious, the Giacomo Conterno Barbera d’Alba Cascina Francia and Cerretta are particularly worthwhile additions. These are wines that demonstrate just how serious Barbera can become in the hands of one of Piedmont’s most celebrated estates.
Several wines in this collection have appeared in our previous offers. This time, however, there is a meaningful difference: Prices have been adjusted to reflect the market today, and that makes this more than simply a repeat of previous selections. Wines that may have seemed less compelling at their earlier prices can now be reconsidered from a very different perspective. For the serious Piedmont drinker, this is a collection to browse slowly. For the collector, it is an opportunity to revisit familiar names at unfamiliar prices. Today, Barolo takes the lead, Barbaresco adds the depth. Mature bottles provide the intrigue. And the new pricing provides the reason to look again. While stocks last.
