14/4/2026: Salon 1990, 1996 & Krug 1996 – Back for a Limited Time | 2010 Trapet Chambertin

Earlier this January, we released a small parcel of some of Champagne’s most sought-after vintages, and they were swiftly snapped up. Today, we are pleased to present a second, strictly limited availability of these extraordinary bottles: 1990 and 1996 Salon, 1996 Krug

These Champagnes require little introduction, benchmarks of their respective houses, and vintages that have long entered the realm of legend. In a few words:

The 1990 Salon is a hedonistic yet poised expression of Salon at its most generous.

The 1996 Salon is precision incarnate, delivering immense complexity.

The 1996 Krug stands as a formidable Champagne that carries into the future

These bottles are increasingly difficult to source, especially with impeccable provenance. Quantities are extremely limited once again, and given the response to our last offer, we do not expect these to last. This is a rare opportunity to secure, or revisit the pinnacle of what Champagne can achieve. First come first served.....RS

20/4/2026: Rare Offer: 2006-08-09-10 Sylvain Cathiard Romanee St Vivant

One of the names in Burgundy today that command reverence is none other Sylvain Cathiard. From his modest base in Vosne-Romanee, Cathiard has built a reputation for producing wines of remarkable purity, precision, and sensual texture. Wines that speak softly, yet linger long in the memory. Among his already scarce portfolio, his holding in Romanee-St-Vivant stands as one of the rarest and most coveted.

Today, we are privileged to present an extraordinary opportunity: a small offer of Cathiard's Romanee-St-Vivant Grand Cru from four outstanding vintages: 2006, 2008, 2009, and 2010, by a single discerning collector. These bottles are not only rare, they come with impeccable provenance, having been professionally stored since release. In a category where condition is everything, this is as reassuring as it gets.

The vineyard itself needs little introduction. Romanee-St-Vivant is often described as the most “ethereal” of the Vosne Grand Crus, combining aromatic lift with silky, almost weightless texture. In Cathiard’s hands, this character is rendered with exceptional finesse: never forced, always precise.

The Vintages: A Study in Nuance and Expression

2006: A beautifully open and charming vintage, showing secondary complexity. Expect Cathiard’s signature silky tannins.

2008: Taut, structured, and classical. This is a vintage for purists, offering freshness, minerality, and a long, focused finish.

2009: Rich, generous, and seductive. A vintage that delivers depth and plush fruit, yet remains balanced. A hedonistic expression.

2010: A benchmark. One of Burgundy’s greatest modern vintages, combining power, precision, and longevity.

For collectors, this is more than just an acquisition. it is a chance to experience the subtle dialogue between terroir, vintage, and one of Burgundy’s most meticulous vignerons. Quantities are extremely limited, first-come, first-served basis.

A rare Grand Cru. A rare producer. A rare moment.

21/4/2026: Spot Offer: 2011 Lynch Bages Back by Popular Demand

Following the overwhelming demands of Lynch Bages over the last few months, we are pleased to bring back a small parcel of the 2011 Chateau Lynch Bages. This is not a large release. In fact, quantities remain limited this time around.

From the ever-reliable Pauillac estate, Lynch-Bages has long been a benchmark for classic Bordeaux, combining structure, depth, and unmistakable Cabernet-driven character. The 2011 vintage, often underestimated, has quietly evolved into a beautifully poised and expressive wine, now entering a very attractive drinking window.

The 2011 Lynch Bages reveals freshness and precision that speaks to the vintage, balanced by the estate’s signature richness and generosity. It is a wine that delivers immediate pleasure, yet retains enough backbone to reward further cellaring. Critics have noted its classic Pauillac profile and its steady evolution over the past decade and more, making it a smart acquisition for Bordeaux drinkers.

For those who have been chasing this Fifth Growth, this is your opportunity. or a chance to add more, before it disappears once again: Like before, orders will be first come first served, so secure your bottles....RS

24/4/2026: A Lifetime in the Bottle: Introducing a Remarkable Private Collection

Over the coming week, I will be sharing with you a rare and deeply personal offering, drawn from the cellar of a seasoned collector whose journey with wine spans more than three decades.

The three part offers, represents a fraction of the proprietor's full wine collection, and chosen from vintages that are well-drinking today and the near term. The lifetime collection is not one built overnight, nor one assembled with trends in mind. It is the result of patience, curiosity, and a lifelong dedication to the great wine regions of the world. From the structured elegance of Bordeaux to the nuanced terroirs of Burgundy, the soulful depth of the Rhone, and the noble traditions of Tuscany and Piedmont....each bottle reflects years of thoughtful acquisition and careful cellaring.

What sets this collection apart is not just the pedigree of the wines, but the consistency of intent behind them. These were wines bought on release, and stored meticulously with Wine Bond since the beginning, testaments to provenance and condition. Many have now reached, or are approaching, their ideal drinking windows, offering a rare opportunity to experience them as they were meant to be enjoyed.

The collector himself has always approached wine with quiet discipline rather than showmanship. There is no excess here, no speculative buying, only a refined selection shaped by experience and personal conviction. It is, in many ways, a cellar that mirrors the evolution of a true wine lover over time.

The offers will be presented in three parts, each highlighting different regions. Quantities are limited, and in this case, I strongly encourage everyone not to miss the offers in the coming week.

I look forward to sharing the first release with you shortly......RS

27/4/2026: A Lifetime in the Bottle Part 1: Tuscany and Piedmont Unveiled

We begin the first chapter of this remarkable private cellar release with a journey through Italy—focusing on two of its most revered regions: Piedmont and Tuscany. At the heart of this offer lies Piedmont, where Nebbiolo reaches its most profound expression in Barolo and Barbaresco. The collection features a handful of carefully selected wines from renowned producers, spanning vintages from 1999 to 2009, a compelling window that captures both maturity and structure across differing climatic conditions. These are not merely labels of prestige, but wines chosen for their character, balance, and proven ability to age with grace.

From the power and depth of Barolo to the more perfumed, finely etched expressions of Barbaresco, this selection offers a rare opportunity to explore the full spectrum of Nebbiolo at or near its ideal drinking window. Many of these bottles are now rare finds in the open market, considering how perfect the provenance is. The vintages themselves add another layer of intrigue. Classic years such as 2004, 2006 and 2007 deliver structure and longevity, while vintage like 2003 offer both immediate pleasure. Together, they form a cohesive and thoughtfully assembled snapshot of Piedmont over a decade of compelling wine-making.

Complementing this strong Piedmont core is a small but significant selection from Tuscany, where Sangiovese takes center stage. Among these, one wine stands apart as the undeniable highlight of the offer: the rare 2009 Stella di Campalto Brunello di Montalcino Riserva. Produced in extremely limited quantities and rarely seen on the market, Stella di Campalto (protege of Soldera) have developed a cult following for her relentless pursuit of purity, elegance, and almost Burgundian sensibility. The 2009 Riserva is a wine of remarkable finesse, balancing the warmth of the vintage with lifted aromatics, fine tannins, and a long, resonant finish. It is both a collector’s piece and a deeply expressive Brunello that speaks of the estate’s meticulous approach.

What unites this entire offering is the philosophy behind its acquisition. These wines were selected for its appeal, age-worthiness, and the quiet evolution of great bottles over time. Now, after more than a decade of cellaring, they are being released at a moment when many are entering their most compelling phase of drinkability. Quantities are limited, hence I invite you to explore this first release and secure the bottles that speak to you most.

Part II will follow shortly, where we turn our attention to Burgundy and Rhone......RS

28/4/2026: A Lifetime in the Bottle Part 2: Burgundy and Rhone ~ Precision and Power

Following our Italian release yesterday, today we continue with Part II of this remarkable private offer, turning our focus to two of France’s most celebrated regions: Burgundy and the Rhone Valley. This chapter presents a compelling contrast in styles, united by provenance and maturity. On one hand, the refined, terroir-driven expressions of Burgundy; on the other, the warmth, depth, and generosity of Chateauneuf-du-Pape.

The Burgundy selection centers on three vintages: 2003, 2006, and 2008—each offering a distinct personality shaped by its growing season. The 2003 vintage, born of an intense and historic heatwave, has evolved into wines of richness and opulence, with softened structures and generous fruit. These are bottles that now show a hedonistic, fully expressive character, offering immediate pleasure. In contrast, 2006 represents a more classical profile, balancing ripeness with freshness. The wines are now entering a beautiful stage of evolution, where primary fruit begins to give way to secondary complexity, while retaining enough structure to continue developing. The 2008 vintage, often praised for its precision and purity, brings a more elegant expression. With higher natural acidity and fine structure, these wines appeal to those who appreciate tension and finesse in Burgundy.

Complementing this is a focused selection from the southern Rhone, mainly Chateauneuf-du-Pape, spanning four highly regarded vintages: 2000, 2001, 2003, and 2007. These are benchmark years for the appellation, each bringing its own character. The 2000 and 2001 vintages offer classic structure and complexity, now fully mature and displaying the savory, garrigue-laced profiles that define great Chateauneuf. The 2003 vintage mirrors Burgundy’s warmth in the same year, producing bold, rich, and powerful wines with a plush, generous texture. The standout 2007 vintage, widely considered one of the greatest in Rhone history, delivers both concentration and balance. These wines combine ripe fruit, spice, and structure in a way that appeals both now and over the coming years.

The only New World wine, a 2006 Napanook, is included in today's offer at an irresistible price.

As with Part I, every bottle in this release has been released by the same meticulous collector. Provenance remains impeccable, an essential assurance when dealing with mature wines of this caliber. This is a rare opportunity to access a curated selection of Burgundy alongside beautifully aged Chateauneuf-du-Pape from top vintages. Have a great time exploring this second chapter.

Part III will conclude the series with a return to the Great Bordeaux....RS

29/4/2026: A Lifetime in the Bottle Part 3 Final: Bordeaux - A Decade of Class

We conclude this three-part private release with one of the world’s most enduring and dependable wine regions: Bordeaux. Vintages on offer today, span more than a full decade from 1998 through 2010, this final chapter offers a comprehensive look at Bordeaux across vintages, appellations, and styles. It is a rare opportunity to explore the region not through a single year or Chateau, but through a broader lens: One that highlights both its consistency and its remarkable ability to deliver wines of character across varying conditions.

The collection draws from all the major appellations: Pauillac, Saint-Julien, Saint-Estephe, Saint-Emilion, Pessac-Leognan, and Pomerol. Each commune brings its own identity, whether it be the structure of Pauillac, balance of Saint-Julien, polish of Saint-Estèphe, or the expressive charm of the Right Bank wines from Saint-Emilion and Pomerol. Pessac-Leognan, as always, contributes its hallmark refinement and aromatics. What makes this offering particularly compelling is the vintage range itself. From the approachable and classically styled 1998, 2001, 2004, to the highly regarded 2005, 2009, and 2010 vintages. This is a lineup that captures Bordeaux in both its understated and its celebrated moments. Many of these wines are now entering their optimal drinking windows, offering a harmony of fruit, structure, and tertiary development that only time can bring. Beyond the individual wines, Bordeaux stands apart for another reason, its reliability. Few regions in the world offer the same level of stylistic consistency year after year. Even in less heralded vintages, the best producers maintain a standard that ensures balance, age-worthiness, and typicity. This dependability has long made Bordeaux a cornerstone for collectors and drinkers alike. Equally important is its track record for price stability. While other regions have seen significant volatility and sharp upward movements, Bordeaux has remained comparatively steady. This creates a unique proposition: access to mature, well-stored wines from top appellations at price levels that remain grounded and, in many cases, increasingly attractive relative to their quality and readiness to drink.

As with Parts I and II, every bottle in this release comes from the same dedicated collector, acquired on release and cellared with discipline over the decades. Provenance is impeccable, and the condition of the wines reflect the care with which they have been stored. This final offering brings the series full circle, each part a reflection of both regional greatness and a collector’s lifelong passion.

I invite you to explore this final chapter and complete your selections from what has been a truly special release these past three days......RS

12/5/2026: Monumental MAGNUMS: 2012 DRC Corton and 2005 G Conterno Monfortino Riserva MAGNUM

This week’s assortment brings together a selection of mature classics, benchmark estates and rare collector bottles from across the world’s great wine regions. From Rhone - Bordeaux - Napa Valley - Champagne - Burgundy - Rioja......this offer reflects both diversity and provenance. Above all, this release is anchored by two extraordinary MAGNUMS that stand at the summit of rarity, longevity and collector desirability.

At the heart of the offer, the monumental 2012 DRC Corton Grand Cru in MAGNUM:

The 2012 vintage marked an historic moment for Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, being among the earliest releases from the Domaine’s newly acquired Corton holdings. Produced in minuscule quantities and seldom seen in large format, this MAGNUM is especially compelling for collectors who understand the ageing trajectory of great Burgundy. The wine combines the aromatic precision and haunting finesse associated with DRC, together with the structure and mineral backbone of Corton. In MAGNUM, the wine develops even more slowly and gracefully, making it one of the most desirable formats to own a piece of Corton history.

Alongside stand one of Italy’s immortal wine, 2005 Giacomo Conterno Barolo Riserva Monfortino in MAGNUM:

For serious collectors of Nebbiolo, Monfortino occupies a category of its own. Produced only in vintages deemed worthy by the Conterno family, it represents the ultimate expression of traditional Barolo: uncompromising, profound and built for decades of evolution. The 2005 vintage is classical in style, with remarkable purity, structure and balance. In MAGNUM format, Monfortino becomes even more compelling. A MAGNUM of this calibre is almost impossible to find.

Beyond these two center pieces, the assortment also includes a superb lineup of highly regarded wines from celebrated producers like: M Chapoutier, JL Chave, Second Flight (by Screaming Eagle) and more.  This week’s offer is ultimately about rarity and provenance, wines that are not merely collectible today, but destined to become even more compelling with time. The two MAGNUMS especially represent opportunities seldom encountered in the market, particularly when sourced from careful cellars and offered alongside such a broad international lineup. As quantities are extremely limited, it will be on a first-come first-confirmed basis.....RS

21/5/2026: Rare Comte Liger-Belair Offer Returns – Extremely Limited Village and Premier Crus

Following our last Comte Liger-Belair offer back in December 2025, we are delighted to return this May with another exceptional and highly limited allocation from one of Burgundy’s most revered Domaines: Comte Liger Belair

This offer comes directly from a private collector with a deep passion for Comte Liger-Belair, and represents a rare opportunity to secure mature back vintages that are seldom seen on the market today. Most wines are available of only one to two bottles, like before, extremely limited quantities. For collectors of fine Burgundy, Comte Liger-Belair needs little introduction. Under the stewardship of Louis-Michel Liger-Belair, the Domaine has become one of the most sought-after names in Vosne-Romanee, producing wines of extraordinary purity, finesse, transparency, and aging potential. Quantities from the Domaine are already tiny upon release, and mature examples from pristine private cellar provenance are becoming increasingly difficult to source. The current offer spans an outstanding range of village and Premier cru bottlings including the highly coveted: La Colombiere, Clos du Chateau, Les Chaumes, and Aux Cras, with selected magnums available.

Among the highlights are:

• Vosne-Romanee: 2010 to 2014

• Vosne-Romanee La Colombiere: 2005, 2011 to 2014

• Vosne-Romanee Clos du Chateau: 2005, 2008-09, 2011 to 2012, 2014

• Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Chaumes: 2008, 2009, 2011 to 2013

• Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Aux Cras: 2006 & 2008

• Rare 1500ml magnums from 2008 vintage

The 2005 vintage remains one of the benchmarks of the century in Burgundy, a year of remarkable structure, concentration, and balance. Wines from 2005 possess tremendous depth and longevity, and today are entering a magnificent phase of maturity while retaining decades of potential ahead.

The 2008 vintage, once underestimated in its youth, has evolved beautifully into a classic Burgundy vintage. Defined by freshness, precision, and vibrant acidity, 2008s now show remarkable aromatic complexity and elegance, especially in the hands of elite producers such as Comte Liger-Belair.

2009 brought generosity and charm, producing wines with silky textures, expressive fruit, and immediate appeal. These are seductive Burgundies that combine richness with the Domaine’s signature refinement.

The celebrated 2010 vintage is regarded by many collectors as one of Burgundy’s finest modern vintages, standing tall beside the 2009. Combining concentration with exceptional balance and purity, 2010 produced wines of both intellectual precision and emotional appeal.

The 2011 vintage delivered approachability, perfumed wines with classic terroir transparency and finesse. Often overshadowed by surrounding vintages, top 2011s from meticulous producers are drinking beautifully today and offer outstanding charm.

2012 was a tiny-yielding vintage marked by intensity and concentration. The wines possess excellent depth and structure, balanced by freshness and energy. Production levels were painfully low across Burgundy, making surviving bottles especially scarce today.

The 2013 vintage returned to a more classic and tension-driven profile, favouring purity, red fruit character, and aromatic lift. These wines continue to evolve gracefully and are increasingly appreciated by Burgundy purists.

Finally, the 2014 vintage has become one of the smartest buys in mature Burgundy today. Combining bright acidity, clarity of fruit, and superb vineyard expression, the wines offer both early accessibility and long-term aging potential. The 2014 La Colombière and Clos du Château are especially worthy of attention.

Beyond the vintages themselves, what makes this offer truly special is the opportunity to acquire mature Comte Liger-Belair wines with impeccable provenance, wines that rarely appear outside the cellars of long-term collectors. As quantities are extraordinarily limited, in many cases only a single bottle available, orders will be strictly on a first-confirmed basis......RS

22/5/2026: Spot Offer: Rare & Revered...The Legendary 2008 Cristal

Few back-vintage Champagnes have created as much excitement among collectors, critics and long-time Champagne lovers as the legendary 2008 Cristal. Produced from one of the greatest modern Champagne vintages, this release has become a benchmark for precision, purity and longevity, a wine many already consider one of the finest Cristals ever produced.

The 2008 growing season in Champagne was cool and dry, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly while retaining extraordinary freshness and tension. For Cristal, this translated into a wine of immense structure, saline minerality and remarkable finesse. A blend of predominantly Pinot Noir with Chardonnay sourced entirely from Grand Cru vineyards, the wine spent close to a decade ageing in Roederer’s chalk cellars before release, longer than previous vintages, giving it exceptional depth while preserving its crystalline energy.

Today, nearly two decades after harvest, the wine is still considered youthful, with many collectors continuing to cellar their bottles for future enjoyment. Among Champagne enthusiasts, 2008 Cristal has earned a near-mythical reputation for its laser-like precision, chalky tension and extraordinary ageing potential. Despite its power and concentration, what makes 2008 Cristal truly remarkable is its balance: a Champagne of both intensity and elegance.

As back-vintage prestige Champagne becomes increasingly difficult to source, especially in pristine condition, the 2008 Cristal stands out as both a superb drinking experience and a serious collector’s bottle. Much of the original global allocation has long disappeared into private cellars, making well-stored examples increasingly scarce in the market today. For collectors, this is an opportunity to secure one of the defining Champagnes of the modern era, one that beautifully captures the magic of both the Cristal name and the extraordinary 2008 vintage.

26/5/2026: Hirsch Vineyards: The Far Sonoma Coast Collection

Perched on the extreme Sonoma Coast, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Hirsch Vineyards has long been regarded as one of California’s greatest Pinot Noir estates. Founded by David Hirsch in the early 1980s, the vineyard sits far from the comforts of Napa and central Sonoma, planted on isolated ridges shaped by fog, wind, fractured soils and dramatic elevation changes.

Today, Hirsch is celebrated not only for producing profound estate wines under its own label, but also for supplying fruit to some of the most iconic names in California Pinot Noir (William Seylem, Kistler, Littorai, Cobb). Yet the true expression of Hirsch is found in its own bottlings, wines that transparently capture the individuality of each ridge, block and vintage. This week’s offer features an exceptionally limited parcel of mature and back-vintage Hirsch wines, with only 3 bottles available of each wine.

The Vineyards:

San Andreas Fault

Named after the famous tectonic fault line that runs beneath the vineyard, this bottling is often considered the signature expression of the estate. It combines fruit from multiple blocks across the vineyard, delivering a complete portrait of its terroir.

East Ridge

The East Ridge parcels sit higher on the estate with greater sun exposure and thinner soils. Wines from these blocks tend to show darker fruit profiles, structure and aromatic intensity.

Raschen Ridge

One of the coolest and most windswept sections of the estate, Raschen Ridge produces Pinot Noir of tension, savory detail and lifted perfume. These are often among the most mineral and Burgundian expressions in the Hirsch range.

West Ridge

Influenced heavily by Pacific fog and maritime breezes, West Ridge wines are typically elegant and finely textured, emphasizing purity and finesse over sheer power.

Block 8

A tiny and highly prized parcel within the estate, Block 8 has achieved near cult status among collectors for its concentration, spice and age-worthiness. Production is always extremely limited.

The Vintages

2014: Classic & Harmonious

A warm and even growing season produced wines with excellent ripeness, refined tannins and immediate charm, while still retaining the freshness expected from Hirsch. These wines are entering a beautiful stage of maturity today, offering complexity without sacrificing energy.

2015: Small Crop, Intense Character

A challenging growing season reduced yields dramatically across California, resulting in tiny berries and concentrated wines. At Hirsch, 2015 produced deeply expressive Pinot Noirs with heightened aromatic intensity, precision and structure.

2018: Benchmark Sonoma Coast Vintage

Many consider 2018 one of the finest California Pinot Noir vintages of the decade. Long, moderate conditions allowed slow and even ripening, producing wines of exceptional clarity, freshness and site transparency.

These Hirsch releases are in pristine condition, limited quantities. For collectors of fine California Pinot Noir, this is a rare opportunity to explore the nuanced personalities of one of the world’s great coastal vineyards across multiple vineyard parcels and outstanding vintages.

While stocks last.

28/5/2026: Burgundy Classics: Village Wines from Great Producers

Following our showcase of Hirsch's Pinot Noir, we turn now to the timeless heartland of fine old world Pinot Noir: Burgundy. This week’s offer focuses exclusively on village-level Burgundy from a selection of renowned producers across the Cote de Nuits and Cote de Beaune. While Grand Crus and Premier Crus often dominate attention, true Burgundy lovers understand that village wines frequently provide the purest and most transparent expression of a Domaine’s style and terroir, especially with bottle age.

The collection spans six important vintages from 2013 to 2018, offering a rare opportunity to explore how differing growing seasons shaped the character of Burgundy during a fascinating era of modern winemaking. As always, quantities are extremely limited, with only 3 bottles available of each wine.

Understanding the Vintages

2013: Classical & Tension-Driven

A cooler and later harvest produced wines with bright acidity, precision and aromatic lift. The reds are elegant, mineral and finely structured.

2014: Pure & Charming

Widely appreciated today for both reds and whites, 2014 delivered wines of clarity, balance and approachability. Red Burgundies show vivid red fruit and silky textures.

2015: Rich & Powerful

A warm, generous vintage that produced concentrated and expressive wines with ripe fruit and structure. The reds are deeper and more opulent than usual, while still retaining regional character. Many 2015s continue to age beautifully and remain highly collectible.

2016: Small Crop, Exceptional Quality

Frost dramatically reduced yields across Burgundy, creating one of the smallest crops in recent history. The surviving wines, however, are often magnificent: focused, energetic and finely balanced.

2017: Elegant & Accessible

A more generous harvest brought relief after several short vintages. The wines are aromatic, supple and expressive, offering immediate charm while maintaining excellent balance. A superb vintage for appreciating terroir and producer style.

2018: Warm Yet Remarkably Balanced

Initially viewed as a rich vintage, many 2018 Burgundies have evolved beautifully in bottle, showing surprising freshness alongside ripe fruit and texture. The best producers crafted wines of depth, harmony and impressive ageing potential.

Why do Village Burgundy matters? Village wines from great Domaines often represent some of the smartest and most rewarding purchases in Burgundy. Without the pricing extremes of Premier and Grand Cru bottlings, they allow collectors to experience the signature style of elite producers in a more approachable and transparent form. With over a decade of bottle age in some vintages, many of these wines are now entering an ideal drinking window, where youthful fruit begins to evolve into the earthy, floral and savory complexity that makes mature Burgundy so compelling.

This offer brings together a carefully selected range of mature Burgundies from esteemed producers across multiple appellations and vintages, a rare chance to compare seasons, terroirs and winemaking philosophies side by side. Don't miss.....RS

3/6/2026: An Exceptional Back-Vintage Burgundy Offer – Revisited & Expanded (1996–2019)

Two months ago, we presented “An Exceptional Back-Vintage Burgundy Offer: 1999–2014”, a carefully curated selection of mature Burgundies spanning some of the region’s most admired vintages. Today, we are pleased to revisit that offer with a newly refreshed parcel.

This latest release combines a number of the remaining bottles from the original selection with several newly added wines that were not previously available. In addition, the list has been comprehensively reviewed and repriced to reflect current market prices, creating fresh opportunities for both collectors and drinkers seeking outstanding value in the increasingly scarce market for mature Burgundy. The appeal of back-vintage Burgundy lies in its ability to reveal dimensions that simply cannot be appreciated in youth. While young Burgundy often captivates with fruit and energy, time allows the wines to develop greater complexity, nuance, and harmony. Textures become more refined, and the wines begin to express the full character of their vineyard origins.

This collection continues to showcase an impressive range of vintages from 1996 through 2019 (expanded version), each offering its own unique personality. The 1996 DRC Romanee St Vivant is a legendary addition, and remains one of Burgundy’s reference point of remarkable depth and structure. A substantial collection of 2010 Grand Crus continue to fascinate Burgundy lovers and deliver purity, freshness, and remarkable definition. Meanwhile, 2012 and 2014 produced smaller quantities of highly concentrated wines that today offer both accessibility and the promise of further development in bottle.

As with the original offer, many of the wines originate from some of Burgundy’s most celebrated vineyard sites, including Grand Cru and outstanding Premier Cru appellations. These are wines crafted by highly respected Domaines and producers whose reputations have been built over decades of meticulous vineyard work and uncompromising winemaking. The combination of esteemed terroirs, proven producers, and bottle age creates a level of rarity that becomes increasingly difficult to source with confidence.

For those who participated in the original March offer, this expanded selection presents a welcome second opportunity to secure bottles that may have been missed the first time around, while also exploring newly added wines. For those discovering the collection for the first time, it represents an opportunity to acquire mature and maturing Burgundy across a broad spectrum of vintages, producers, and vineyard classifications. As before, quantities remain extremely limited, and many wines are available only in single-digit quantities. Once sold, future stocks are unlikely to become available. A rare second release, don't miss.......RS

11/6/2026: Prices Lowered: 2006-08-09-10 Sylvain Cathiard Romanee St Vivant

Price reductions are common. Price reductions on mature Sylvain Cathiard Romanee-St-Vivant are not. Today, we are delighted to revisit a small parcel of one of Burgundy's most sought-after Grand Crus, now available at reduced prices for a limited time. Coming from a single private collection and stored in Wine Bond's professional conditions, these bottles offer a rare chance to acquire mature Cathiards at a more attractive entry point.

The appeal of mature Romanee-St-Vivant (in particular Cathiard's) lies not in sheer power, but in its ability to evolve with extraordinary grace. The unmistakable perfume has made this vineyard one of Burgundy's most treasured addresses. The four vintages offered today are the same as what was previously offered back in April, including the legendary back to back 2009 and 2010 vintages. This time round, the prices are lowered for one final time and available for a short stint on marketplace.

For many Burgundy enthusiasts, opportunities such as this have become increasingly uncommon. Mature bottles, particularly those with impeccable provenance, are seldom seen. What makes this offer especially compelling is the ability to compare four vintages side by side, observing how weather, growing conditions, and bottle age shape the expression of the same Grand Cru terroir. It is common for Cathiard Romanee-St-Vivant bottles to quickly disappear into long-term private cellars as soon as they are allocated. Secondary markets remain limited in offerings for this wine as well. With prices now reduced, they represent outstanding value relative to both current market levels and replacement cost. Quantities remain extremely limited so secure them if you are a fan........RS

12/6/2026: Spot Offer: Rare Burgundy Icons and A Legendary Chateauneuf-du-Pape

This Friday's spot offer brings together an exceptional collection of mature and highly sought-after wines from Burgundy and the Rhone. Mostly available in just 2 to 6 bottles, these are bottles seldom seen on the market today, let alone gathered in a single offer.

The heart of this selection lies in Burgundy, in particular three interpretations of Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Malconsorts, one of the most celebrated Premier Crus, often regarded as the vineyard that most closely rivals the great Grand Crus of Vosne-Romanee. The 2002 Sylvain Cathiard, 2006 Dujac, and 2010 Roche de Bellene, each offer a fascinating snapshot of both producer and vintage, showcasing the sensual perfume, depth, and aristocratic structure that have made Malconsorts a collector's favourite. Next up, who can afford to miss the 2012 Georges Roumier Morey-St-Denis 1er Cru Clos de la Bussiere, an interpretation of a historic monopole that consistently delivers remarkable finesse, purity, and longevity.

For Grand Cru enthusiasts, the line-up is especially enticing beginning with the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin. The 1988 Georges Mugneret Ruchottes-Chambertin showdowns alongside the 2001 Faiveley Chambertin Clos de Beze and 2001 Joseph Drouhin Griotte-Chambertin, who is the winner? Rounding up the Grand Crus are two wines from outstanding modern vintages: the 2012 Drouhin-Laroze Musigny and the 2015 Roche de Bellene Corton. Both vintages celebrated for its consistency and balance.

Completing the offer is a true Rhone legend: the 1998 Henri Bonneau Chateauneuf-du-Pape Cuvee Marie Beurrier. Produced by one of the most mythical names in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, this wine has achieved near-cult status among collectors. The magnificent 1998 vintage, combined with decades of bottle age, promises extraordinary depth, complexity, and savoury character.

Whether you are looking to add bottles of rare Burgundy to your collection, revisit great vintages, or secure a bottle from one of Rhone's most legendary producer, this collection offers a remarkable opportunity. Happy Friday.......RS

23/6/2026: Spot Offer: 2002 Domaine Ponsot Clos de la Roche Grand Cru Cuvee Vieilles Vignes

Today's spot offer features the magnificent 2002 Domaine Ponsot Clos de la Roche Grand Cru Cuvee Vieilles Vignes, a wine that has now enjoyed over two decades of graceful bottle maturation. Produced from exceptionally old vines rooted in the limestone-rich soils of Clos de la Roche, this cuvee captures both the power and finesse that have made the vineyard one of Morey-Saint-Denis' most celebrated sites.

The 2002 vintage is regarded as one of Burgundy's finest classic years. Following excellent growing conditions and a healthy harvest, the wines emerged with remarkable balance, purity and structure. Now entering a glorious stage of maturity, this Clos de la Roche reveals itself with forest floor, truffle and exotic spice, and remains impressively vibrant, with silky textures and extraordinary persistence. The wine unfolds slowly in the glass, offering a complexity that only great terroir, old vines and patient ageing can achieve.

Back-vintages of Ponsot's Clos de la Roche are hard to come by, especially bottles of sound provenance. For collectors and Burgundy enthusiasts, this represents a rare opportunity to experience one of the Cote de Nuits most iconic wines at a superb stage of evolution. Don't miss.......RS
